⌘K (or Ctrl K on Windows and Linux), or click the magnifying glass in the top bar, and start typing. Search applies to the view you are on: in a grid like People, rows narrow live as you type.
Results update a moment after you stop typing; press Enterto apply the search immediately.Search is case-insensitive and ignores extra spaces. Clear the search box to bring every row back.
⌘⇧K for jumping around by keyboard, and g-then-a-letter chords for the sidebar sections. The full map is in Keyboard shortcuts.
